Baby name...
Hi ladies!
I'm posting here bc I need a lot of opinions! So I am 17 weeks pregnant with baby #2!! We found out yesterday that we will be having another baby girl
So we started to think of names. My DDs name is Giuliana so we have to find something that is italian and goes with it. My DH is so set on the name Luciana for DD #2. And since I picked Giuliana he is insisting that he picks DD#2. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the name Luciana but....
Do you think the names are too close/matchy??
Does it really matter if they are?

My DDs names are very close & matchy, and I hate it. I did not want to name DD#2 Erin, cause it rhymes with DD#1 (Marron, pronounced Marin). I tried every day in the hospital to call her something different, but nothing else felt right. So we went with it. To this day, when I say their names together, I hate it; but Erin does truly "fit" her.
Add to it the fact that we have a boy now, named him James. So now he's the odd-man-out cause he doesn't rhyme.

I Really like Lucia. Your safe with an a ending name but another -iana ending is like you mentioned too matchy. I love the name Alessandra.
