I didn't feel anything until about 22 weeks. Dr said it was normal.

Re: Baby Movement?
Everyday? I would say 1/2 into your 2nd trimester if not more towards the end of the 2nd trimester for some as well.
It's different for everyone. Even then in your 3rd trimester baby movement slows due to less room in there.

Re: Baby Movement?
Everyone's different. A lot has to do with the position of the placenta as well as where you carried pre-pregnancy weight. My best friend didn't feel her son like that until 25 weeks; I was in my 16th week when it became strong and consistent.

Re: Baby Movement?
Everyone is different. I would guess by the end of your second trimester, though your doctor could probably best advise you about this.
At 34 weeks, I feel movement every day, but it's generally not that strong and never has been. Everything seems to be fine though, and my doctor said as long as there is movement daily, the baby is fine. Each baby is slightly different, some kick more, some are quieter.

Re: Baby Movement?
I have felt the baby at least once or twice everyday since 24 weeks. Actually I was just sitting here freaking out because i haven't felt her all day but she just kicked me. My DH though still can't feel her kicks so I guess they aren't that strong.
ETA: You are due the day before me!!! How are you feeling??

Re: Baby Movement?
hmm its difffernt for everyone - i know i felt movement later and less strong then most people becuase my placenta is anterior and in the front - which is the case when it is like that...
i prob felt every day movement at about 24 weeks - but it wasnt constant and very strong - but when i was laying in bed pressing on my belly
i felt constant every day movement at like 30 weeks - but if i was busy or not paying attention i could miss it
only in the lasy couple of weeks or month i say has it been all the time - only when she is sleeping for like half an hour at a time do i not feel her

Re: Baby Movement?
I started feeling the kicks at about 21/22 weeks. They have only really got stronger this week. DH was able to feel it for the first time this week. I am 24 weeks today.

Re: Baby Movement?
I read the other day most people start to feel something between 18 and 22 weeks. I felt the baby for the first time last night at 18 weeks and 3 days. It was a few little thumps for about 5 minutes and haven't felt it since.

Re: Baby Movement?
I first felt little flutters around 15 weeks, but nothing consistent and strong until 19 weeks. However, my BF had an anterier placenta so she didn't feel anything until 25 weeks (her doc. said approx. 50% of women have anterior placentas). Anterior placenta just means that the placenta is in front of the baby, closest to the front of your belly, and so it cushions the kick making it a little more difficult to feel. HTH!
