Baby Moon Ideas
Everyone keeps encouraging me to book some sort of little trip together before the baby. I feel like it's a pain to get away now with the 3 dogs so I can't imagine ever getting away in the next few years. I'm looking to go somewhere within driving distance that would allow some nice quality time for my husband I before the baby comes- since I'm a teacher preferably during February since I have break. I'd appreciate any ideas.

What about Spa at Norwich inn? Some prenatal massages, it is close to Foxwoods and Mohegan so you can go there for dinner! show, etc.

We went to AC over thanksgiving. Stayed at tropicana which I love because they have everything right there and you don't have to leave. It was fun!

Thanks! Happy I asked because for some reason my mind didn't even think casinos and they have everything there. I was thinking Montauk because it's so pretty and quiet but am I going to want to walk around in the cold 7 months pregnant ? probably not.

I want to do a babymoon also , but I do not have any vacation time (since I will be using it up when the baby gets here). Any other ideas of places close by would be appreciated.

Canyon ranch Newport Boston Dc Ac Foxwoods or Mohegan sun
You def should get away bc it will never be like this again when the baby gets here. Even when you do go for dinner you will be talking about the baby the whole, time and staring at your phone and texting whomever is watching them.

Re: Baby Moon Ideas
When pregnant with DD1 3 years ago, DH and I did Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz. I love it up there. We went in the fall. It's VERY low-key (no TVs in rooms), but we did active stuff all day (I even hiked a good amount at 6 months pregnant), ate well and went to the spa.
This time we just went to Montauk for the weekend. We went off season (early Nov), so it was really quiet but also really relaxing. We stayed at the Montauk Yacht Club.

I keep leaning towards Montauk- only bc I'm scared of being a few hours away- especially since this pregnancy hasn't been easy so far.. At least Montauk is away, but if I needed to get to my doctor, only like an hour away. How was the Montauk Yacht Club? Would you recommend it?
