Baby Monitors! How long did you use yours?
My DH turns to me and says how long are you going to use that? I have every intention of using it till he is 16!

I have a DD who is over 3 years old and I still use it. I actually have 2 monitors next to my bed---one for the 3 year old and one for the 8 month old. I am just used to it.

DS is 2 and I rarely use the monitor now. The audio one we just stopped using recently when our power went out and we just forgot to put it back on so we figured we probably dont need it much
The video I still check occasionally but really I could do without either at this point.
With that being said, I have a ranch and can hear him from anywhere in the house.

 my older dd is 3 and i use it religiously....i don't see ever giving it up...but i am a worrywart and like to check on her....plus it makes me smile to see her snuggled up so nice, or playing by herself happily!

I should add dh works in law enforcement, well, more specifically sex crimes, so he will prob be worse than me with using it until she is 21!!

at 28 months we are still using the video monitor for both my DS & DD (who is 5 months)
we don't use the sound bc we hear them both, our bedrooms are close enough to hear them

I also used the Angel Care monitor until he was almost 2 though so I'm probably a little crazy

we used it for miki until last month (she will be 3 in March)...she sleeps with her door open and if she needs us, she will come to her room. If for some reason, she cannot come to her room, she will call for me and since my house is tiny, I can hear her well

DS is 2, we only had an audio monitor and still use it.
I plan on using it for a while, because we have a cape. If I am doing something in the basement, I would never hear him, since the bedrooms are on the second floor.

My DD is 15 months old and I still use it. I even turn it on at night and we share a wall!!!............I can't NOT hear her but I still use the monitor!!
