Cant comment on that particular wrap - BUT check out this website for more info - as well as a 'For Sale or Trade' board where people sell off used items at reasonable prices. http://www.thebabywearer.com/
If baby is already over three months - also consider a 'ring sling' - you can carry a heavier child in it, and its great to nurse in! Good Luck!

Re: baby ktan wrap

I adore my baby ka'tan. I actually saw a display of them at buy buy baby the other day. So I'd check there. I got mine at a local boutique (I'm OOS) and she let me walk around with DD in it for a while before I bought it. She also showed me exactly how to wear it in a few positions (I need to learn the hip one so I might go back there and ask). We use it a lot and DD is 7 months this week.

I have a moby and I find the baby ka'tan a thousand times better and easier. It seems like it's tight kinda when you're first putting it on but once you put the baby in, it really stretches so there's enough room to comfortably but securely hold them.

I have a bjorn too that someone gave me hand-me-down and I love the ka'tan even more.

You can't do it with one hand, but otherwise yes. Especially compared to the Moby, which I didn't find hard, just cumbersome with all that material.

Basically, you use the piece with the rings. You put the double loops over your head like a necklace with the small connector ring at the back of your neck. You slide your right arm in so the necklace now becomes one ring on each arm across your chest. Then reach behind and move the small connector down low on your back. Bring the piece on your left shoulder down off the shoulder (like an 80s style tshirt). Put the baby's leg into the right side. The bring the left shoulder piece back up and put the baby into the left side as you do that. Make sure to spread the fabric nicely both across the baby's bum and your shoulders.

That's for forward or facing towards you. You can use the second piece to reinforce or not use it. To use it sling style is even easier.

I used it in the grocery store yesterday and the library the day before.
