Baby food question
My dd1 is a TERRIBLE eater and so I'm so worried about dd2, who's 14 months old. She eats everything - same table food we eat - , but I noticed that she's been refusing vegetables lately. It seems to me she has a hard time with the skins/shells/stringiness of peas, string beans, spinach, asparagus, etc. Is it terrible if I give her jarred purees of these foods (in addition to the regular table food that she eats)? She gobbled them up as purees when she was younger. On the one hand I don't want to shield her from the textures, but on the other hand, I don't want these flavors to be foreign to her and I want her to eat veggies! Thoughts?

Baby food question
My twins will be 2 next week and we still do puree pouches. They do eat veggies, but they really only like broccoli and carrots. This way they get more of a variety, because in the pouch they will eat ANY veggie.

Baby food question
Our DDs are around the same age and mine won't eat plain veggies, either. She won't let us feed her- she has to do it herself and she's a hot mess with a spoon so that leaves finger foods only.
I give her veggie burgers, quinoa cakes with veggies, falafel, carrots and cucumbers with hummus or tzatziki, veggie nuggets (she loves the Dr. Pragers ones), these spinach kale bites from Trader Joe's are her fave. I also get her ravioli with veggies in them and sneak broccoli into her mac n cheese.
Good luck! I'm always so worried she's not getting enough fruits and veggies so I hear ya!

Re: Baby food question
Thanks! Yes, dd loves to feed herself, but i can sneak In Spoonfuls of stuff while she's preoccupied with her pincer grasp!
We've been doing g the dr. Praegers but they constipate her. And I do want her to know the taste of veggies while she's still liking them, rather than disguising the taste.
I think I may buy some pouches!

Re: Baby food question
When I was pregnant for some reason the vegetables I could keep down were the pouches ., I think purée veggies are better then no veggies
