Baby Boy Gift

My best friend just had a little boy...would you like a gift like this?

ETA: If so, what size, 8 x 10?

Re: Baby Boy Gift

I answered no unless you were certain it would match my decor.

Personally - I'd love it and I'd find space for it, but others may not, kwim?

Yes, I can customize it to her decor...her decor is a deep yellow, and gray, so I would change the colors!

Did you get her something else too?

It's cute, but I personally wouldn't want someone to get me nursery decor.

Yes, def! I am getting it to put in my boys playroom, just thinking it may be cute for her too!

I think that it's an adorable gift! 8x10 is a good size.

Honestly this. Someone gave us a lithograph when my son was born and it was nice, and I hung it up, but I soon replaced it. My cousin is a noted fine artist and she asked me what our theme was for the room, colors and designed something for us that was personalized. It is still hanging on our walls 6 years later.

I guess it would come down to price then - if it is a print and is just a few dollars, then go for it, but I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it in case she doesn't like it.

I said no because while I think it is adorable, it is not everyone's taste/style to decorate that way. I probably would not even hang that in DS's room, but rather in his playroom.

Re: Baby Boy Gift

I agree with most above, I really prefer not to receive decor as gifts (for the babies or just my house in general). I have specific tastes and while I love the thought I don't enjoy trying to work it into what I planned out so specifically. Then if I don't use it I feel guilty.

edit for spelling

I love this, as long as it matches decor. Even if I didn't hang it, I'd rest it on a shelf or find a spot for it. I LOVE what it says!! Perfect for little boys!

If you know the room colors (which it sounds like you do), then I would definitely get it. It's adorable!! I can't imagine someone not liking it.
