babies r us returns?
Can anyone share any experience with returning toys to babies r us?
DS got a toy for Christmas that he already has- no gift receipt. I wanted to return it for store credit. Will they take it back without a reciept?

They'll give you store credit, but I don't know how they determine the amount. It's not great. I just take whatever amount they give since it's not worth the stress to me.

I took back toys today at both bru and tru no receipt and got store credit no problems.

They will give the lowest price in the past 60 or 90 days. If buy buy baby sells it and you return it there you might get more $$ back.

They are the worst. My kids got a toy without a receipt that was to young for them, and it had TRU printed on the box. They had others on the shelves and the store STILL refused to take it back. I cannot stand returns at BRU.
