Axid and Prevacid

Has anyones child been on both at the same time? This is what my dr told me to try (he relayed the message through the receptionist)

Then I called back because I was not sure how to administer it...give it at the same time as the axid (hes been on the axid). So I call up, the nurse puts me on hold, and then comes back, asks if he gets each once a day (he gets axid 3x, not sure as to Prevacid, haven't picked it up yet) and she says, "ok, if it were me I would subsitute the prevacid once a day when you would normally give me axid

If it were you...that's not what I called up for...you are a receptionist...I want to know what the dr wants me to do (or even a nurse). I hung up because I couldn't believe she said that...now I have to call back.

But I also just wanted to see if anyone gave both at the same time...I hate having to give meds.
