AWESOME Weekend! (with pics of my SIL's wedding)
Friday night, DH came home with a dozen roses and told me that this was the start of my Mother's day weekend.  . He changed a poopy diaper, fed the baby and put her to bed.
Saturday afternoon was my SIL's wedding reception in BelMar, NJ (Jersey Shore). She was married in Hawaii in March, but had a reception for both sides of the family (my BIL's family is from Philly) in NJ.
Grace was SO good at the party. DH and I felt like the BEST parents in the world  .
After the party, we checked into our hotel and went swimming in the heated indoor pool with Grace. DH & I bought her this inflatable swim thingy that she sits in. OMG! She loved it. My MIL bought us a suite fro mother's day & father's day with two bedrooms, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, etc. and even babysat Saturday night so we could go to dinner with my BIL's family (most of whom were our age). MIL wanted us to have some alone time before my surgery and really made it so easy for us to do that. She was so generous, we really were not expecting that.
Yesterday, we went to the BEACH! We walked on the boardwalk, DH treated me to lunch and we put our toes into the water. I miss the beach so much and I was glad we saw the beach. Then we came home, had Sushi for dinner and went to this gelati place for dessert in town. DH gave me this beautiful card and made me cry. He also gave me a willow tree statue (I collect them). BTW..Grace is a HUGE gelati fan, just like her mama
