Re: August/September Girls - updates please
feeling good in general but have a head cold the past two days.... Feeling baby move like crazy all the time, I'm not sure if she sleeps!!!
Nursery: DS is out and in his big boy bed/room. We put in my wicker set as a teenager in the nursery for our little girl. So now I can start to figure out what we really need for DD.
I have not had my glucose test yet, when should that be?
Don't see the dr. until next week. I think It has been over a month since I have had an appoinment.

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
feeling very good right now.... I am seriously dependent upon fluids, though. I drink a TON. If I don't have a drink for over 3 hours I begin to feel tired and achy. Crouton will be named Eryk. We still have no idea for a middle name
Crouton will be sharing our bedroom (1BR apt). So, no painting is necessary. His furniture is assembled and in place... his crib is also assembled... but there's still a ton to do... we're doing it bit by bit.
my shower is pretty late... aug 23rd (I'll be 36 weeks ) I'm hoping nothing else that I registered for is discontinued between now and then!

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
i am feeling pretty good. went to the doctor today and i'm scheduled for my c-section on august 12th. it's exciting to know exactly when our dd will arrive.
we are shifting rooms around and moving my dd into a bigger room. she will be 2 on august 22nd . the nursery is set, but i'm painting parker's big girl room a nice pale yellow.
other than that i have to go for an mri next tuesday. with my 1st i had placenta accreta which can be very dangerous. an mri is the only way to rule it out and they want to know ahead of time if i have it again.
i hope everyone is doing well!

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
I feel that my daughter is doing step aerobics in my uterus. Her feet are stabbing my vag regularly.
Her name is picked out and we aint sharing.
Nothing done as far as nursery. We wont have one til after she comes home. All we are doing is emptying her room and possibly painting.
Her lamp came in - it is at my sister's house.
The ottoman for her glider came in and we are going to go pick it up in a few minutes and leave that at my ILs house.
Im not close to ready. Im nervous, scared and uncomfy. I aint gonna lie, I am not looking forward to childbirth. Frankly, I am still constipated and I take Colace daily. If it hurts this much just to poop, I'll gladly take the epidural. Flame away.
There. How was that for an answer?

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
I am 29 1/2 weeks
furniture is here and I had my shower last weekend. We are not painting the toom until is here bc I either want to do something really girly or really boyish. So we are waiting.
I feel good except my groin kills me if i walk for a long time. It hurts to get out of bed or roll over or even put my pants on when I have to lift a leg up. And my legs, at night, feel like there is no circulation.
But is doing great.

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
Hello ladies. I'm not feeling too bad except the heartburn for the last week has been unbearable. Not swelling and bp seems to be in check. Baby moves alot but not as much as I thought he would. Our nursery is finished, registed and my shower will happen soon I think. We still haven't decided on a name though and that is stressing me a little.

Feeling good here! Occasionally heartburn but nothing out of control. We will have in our room for a while so no nursery yet. Feeling lots of movement but DH STILL hasn't felt it... so frustrating! Next doctor appointment is next week...

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
I am feeling really good and keep thinking how lucky I am. I took my 1 hour glucose test last week, and passed! Had my checkup this morning, and all is well. My biggest problem is that I have gained too much weight....

Feel pretty good.............LOVE feeling the baby move all around. Can't wait to be able to feel the movements on the outside of my belly too. Not really looking forward to the hot summer but hopefully it will go fast!!
The nursery is painted, new trim and mouldings have been installed, we're just waiting to order a new carpet. We'll be ordering the baby furniture by the end of the month. Can't wait!!
If it's a the name will be Hayden Alexander.

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
feeling pretty good aside from the pain I'm feeling from the lack of "perk" in my muscles from, having 3 kids in 3 years. Today is a good day...NO pain so far.
Up only 10.5 lbs.
NO name yet....can't agree. Some people love his choice, some love my choice, some love the one name we both kind of like.
Nursery....it's been the same since DC #1.

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
29 weeks...
Feeling pretty good most of the time. Bad backaches sometimes and often very tired (moreso from running after 2 1/2 yr old -finding pregnancy harder the second time around b/c of that).
We know it's a boy but have no names, honestly we don't even talk about it much.
After staying in the bassinet in our room for a few months I think the boys will be sharing a room so no nursery. And no, we haven't done anything yet.....we need to get a dresser soon!!!
It's funny how the second pregnancy (at least in my case) is so different than the first, for my first I had everything ready already....for this one, nothing

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
Feeling fine.. over do it here and there but quickly I slow down.
Her name is Jezebel Rose (the more I tell the public I’ve chosen this name the more I love and I am amazed at how many people think its pretty too!)
Nursery.. UGH!!! We have the Cable guy coming in on Friday to hook us up to cable in our current ‘office’ which will be come the living room. After that, we can finally start moving the major living room furniture into the ‘office’. Today we are moving a bookcase one foot over and the computer desk is moving to its new home in the new living room. I wish to GOD we had done all this earlier on when I could help and carry my weight. Now, I feel USELESS and it annoys the living crap out of me!
I’m just a ‘just get it done’ type person, I hate waiting for others to move a stupid loveseat. For crying out loud! Once the loveseat is out of the living room and the TV is moved over (already set up the stand for it) then it’s easy to get the little stuff out of the living room and start to paint. My Glider is purchased and waiting for pick up and my ottoman is already in the room (in a box).
Glider/ottoman – Check Additional Chair/foldout bed – Check Artwork – Check Mirrors and accessories for walls – Check Crib – Check Dresser – Check Storage Unit/Bookcase type thing-Check
Need: Paint, Rug and bedding stuff.
Doing my Glucose Test on June 27th to coincide with my dr appt.

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
Tons to do here! I don't have time to write out the list because it's too damn long. But I am super excited to get started this weekend on whittling down the list.
I feel OK on average. Somedays I feel like poop, others, like today, just great. My energy just fluctuates so much. DS is turning and kicking, more than my DD ever did! As he gets bigger my organs are going to have quite a fight on their hands!
I am getting REALLY excited to meet this baby though! Seeing my DD makes me even more excited...what will his temperament be like? Will he have the cleft chin like DH and DD? Head full of hair or a baldie??!!! Just can't wait to hear him cry and hold him!!!!
Hope everyone else is feeling OK or better! Here's to healthy babies and happy mommies!!

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
Tomorrow I will officially be 27 weeks and entering my third trimester
It's been in the 90's in FL and very humid. I dont want anything to do with the outside. I just want to sit in the cold a/c with a glass of iced tea and relax.
Mornings are getting real rough. It takes me forever to get out of the bed.
Some days is really active and some days he is just mellow. I guess he tires himself out. But when he's real active I swear he's practicing his fighting moves. The other day I got 3 quick jabs and I think he was practicing his left, right, left.
We have a name picked
Our current Guest room is going to be the nursery. My parents are coming for a week in July so we havent really done too much in the room. The changing table is there and the crib is still in it's box but is in the room. I have one corner filled with baby stuff and the closet has the diaper bags that are filled with lots of goodies. Once my parents leave then DH is going to tackle the nursery and get everything painted and set up.
Besides all of that, I cant wait for

Re: August/September Girls - updates please
I am 29 weeks. Going for a growth sono tomorrow and then my ob on Monday. I am hoping they can schedule my c-section then since my family is bugging me when the baby's bris will be. (Most of my family is out of town.)
I feel good but I think I need to buy a maternity belt. By then end of the day my abdomen hurts from all the pressure and from dealing with dd.
We are still waiting on our permit from the TOH to construct the baby's room!
