It wouldn't have been possible for me. At that age, my daughter was nursing around the clock. I had no time to think about pumping enough for even 3 hours because I was always nursing.

I would t go. I went to a wedding when dd was a few months old for a close friend and my boobs were rock hard and horribly painful even when we left at like 10. Plus I was so worried about her I didn't really have a great time.
Eta: my parents watched her. No way would I leave her with strangers at 3 weeks.

I wouldn't want to leave my 3 week old especially if I'm EBFing. We had an OOS family wedding to attend when DS2 was 5 weeks old. We all attended and I spent a majority of the reception in the bridal suite nursing and taking care of him. I agree with having DH go without you.
