at what week did u find out gender?
I'm not getting my next sono until I'm 21w and I feel like this isn't the norm, isn't it usually 16w? I don't wanna wait a month I wanna know now!

We had our gender reveal tonight for #2. I am 16 weeks. With DD#1 we found out at 12 weeks and confirmed at 16.

Depends on your OB. With DD#1 I had a sono at 17wks, but the Dr wouldn't even let the camera slip so we could have a peak down there. lol. She said she never does it until 20 weeks because it's not clear enough until then and she doesn't want to give false interpretations. So we found out at 20wks. I'm going to the same Dr this time around and just assume it'll be the same story. So to me 21wks sounds very normal/reasonable (although I'd think it would be at 20 - is there a reason you're waiting that extra week?)
I know the feeling though. I was DYING to know by freakin 10wks. Even did one of those silly at home gender tests (which of course was WRONG! lol)

12 weeks but we were one of the rare ones that had chromosome testing
My best friends are both! Pregnant and one found out at 19 and the other 20

At my 11w sono the baby was deep in my pelvis so the tech wanted to wait an extra week to give the baby time to get out of there so we can get a better picture. I guess it's the norm then, I'm pretty sure with my dd I found out earlier tho and I just talked to someone who found out at 16w. Oh well, guess I gotta wait another month!

6 wks  (but I'm def the exception to the rule here because we did genetic testing  )
In my first pregnancy we were able to find out at 16wks.

Never before 20 weeks at dr. They didn't do a 16 week sono.
I went this time around at 18 weeks to Baby's 1st Appearance in Port Jefferson to find out.

Our little one wouldn't cooperate at the 16w appt. I went for a fetal sono the other day and the tech said "nothing was jumping out at her" lol. I hope they can tell this week at our 20w!!

16 via elective gender sonogram at a private place. but at the OB they wont tell u before 20. they may say if they see something early but most wont they wait until anatomy scan.
