At what age did your DC start crusing, then walking?
DD is 12 & 1/2 months. She has been standing for a while, but no real crusing. She will push a walker, but only for a few steps. She also does not really cruise. She will transfer from one thing to another and she is also letting go while standing. Just wondering when I should be nervous about the lack of cruising....not worried about her not walking yet.

Re: At what age did your DC start crusing, then walking?
DS started to cruise at around 11 months. He didn't actually walk on his own until 13-14 months. I knew he was scared but could do it. I don't think you have to worry for a while.

Same for my DS. DD started walking a few weeks ago and started cruising at the same time as DS.

Re: At what age did your DC start crusing, then walking?
DD#1 started cruising 7-7.5 months. She was walking across the room on her own by 10.5 months. She was taking 1-3 steps w/out holding on for 2-3 weeks before that. She was standing on her own I think around 9-9.5 months.
DD#2 has been cruising since right before 7 months (about a week or two earlier than DD#1) BUT I don't see her walking any time soon. Although she is a quick crawler and is pulling up and cruising all over I just don't think she is interested in walking anytime soon - and she is not even trying to stand on her own yet. I figure she will do it when she is ready.

DD#1 started cruising early...like 6.5 months, but didn't walk until the day before her 1st birthday. She was perfectly happy cruising and crawling for almost 6 months.

I think if she is holding herself up on her legs and taking a few steps then I wouldn't be concerned yet.

I don't think so, if she can push the push toy she knows to move her legs...can you try putting some things on the couch or something and have her walk along the couch to go get it, to help her out?

Re: At what age did your DC start crusing, then walking?
DS is 15 months and still not walking but taking a few steps. Started cruising at close to 11/12 months.
The pediatrician said not to worry about them walking until they are closer to 1.5 years.

My son was walking, nay running at 10.5 months, I would say he was cruising at about 7-8 months.

I have tried this and she will take a few steps over....guess I just need to do it more.
