At 38 1/2 weeks preggo....

is it normal to be a bag of emotions?! I stopped work on Friday and ever since then I feel so weepy! I don't know if it is that I have more time on my hands to think but I'm feeling so sad and nervous. I am so nervous about labor and delivery and when/where I will feel the first indication that baby is coming. Also, so sad that my life is about to change forever. Don't get me wrong I am so happy to meet LO but I have these overwhelming feelings of fear and sadness that my life is going to be so different, what if I can't handle it?, and so scared that mine and DH's relationship is going to change....please tell me this is normal! I can cry at the drop of a hat!

I sure hope it's normal....otherwise I have a problem!! Chat Icon

The night they killed Bin Laden, I sat on my couch sobbing uncontrollably for nearly 2 hours. Can't explain why....but it just made me blubber! DH thinks I'm a freak.

Totally normal... It will pass.. trust me. Its all hormonal. I was like that the second I gave birth to my ds. During my first pregnancy, I have never been so hormonally stable my entire life. The minute he was born..OMG.. my hormones went crazy. This pregnancy is total opposite. My emotions are all over the place. My mood changes 2000 times on any given day. It is horrible, but I know its all hormonal.

You will be fine, trust me. Life will change a LOT!!, but once you get in a routine, you will adjust accordingly. Hang in there Chat Icon

Totally normal! I went through this when I was PG with my daughter. Cried all the time, on the way to the hopsital, at TV, even thinking of her. I bought her a journal and would fill in stuff about DH and I and sobbed over it every night the few weeks leading up to her birth! Your life is about to change- HUGELY- but it is sooo worth it, trust me. You will become a new "Dh and I" with this little one right in the middle! Chat Icon
