As I get closer to my due date........

I'm getting more and more excited to meet this baby! BUT im getting more and more scared of becoming a mother Im scared ill be a horrible mom and im scared when my baby grows up all the things that could happen to him/her. You hear all these stories and it makes you thinks!

Anyone eles thrilled to be a mom but super scared at the sametime?

absolutely! when people ask me how im feeling i tell them "im horrified and excited both at the same time!". its scary to think that you'll have a whole human beings life in your hands and its your job to not screw them up. but all we can do is try our best. thats what our parents did, and i like to think we all turned out okay!

i know DH & I are so excited that we're going to have a little but my DH is already saying what if she brings some loser home and so on. im like i know im already worrying about all the things shes going to go through while growing up .

I still have 4 months, but I am getting excited....

I'm also getting nervous about juggling it all...its hard to juggle what I have on my plate now, so I hope baby will fit somehow into the schedule, he/she will have to! That makes me nervous, the unknown

I know exactly what you mean. DH is an assistant principle in a middle school and I hear horror stories about his students!!!!! Definitely worried, but then I think that these things were around when I was young and my parents managed to steer me in the right direction, so I just hope and pray I can do as good as they did.

without a doubt! I am so excited to meet our little miracle especially with what we went through to get here, but at the same time I start to panic when I think of being a mother. Everyone tells me I will be such a good mom since I have had years of practice with nephews but still I could send them home I am happy to be taking on the challenge but I know that it will be a change

I was terrified. TERRIFIED. I never had a maternal bone in my body, and the example that was set for me wasn't exactly stunning. I was convinced I would be a horrible mother.

And at first, I'll admit, it was rough. I had a very difficult time adjusting to life with a baby.

But, now, 3.5 years later, I can proudly say that the one area in my life I was so terrified of failing, is the one I've succeeded the most. I'm a kickarse mom, and proud of it.

I have been thinking about this alot late;y. It's our first baby and im so worried i will become my mother, which i hope never happens. I want to be a good mother but im a scared to death i will do something wrong. Maybe I will forget the diaper bag r forget the baby somewhere!! I can only hope that thing will be ok.

Tara, because you care so much that you would be a horrible mother, you will most certainly BE a wonderful mother! Caring is the first step!

But hon, I'm terrified too.
