Aruban Police Again Question Van Der Sloot in Holloway Case

ORANJESTAD, Aruba — Aruban investigators questioned a Dutch college student in the Netherlands about the Natalee Holloway case on Friday as they seek a court order to detain him as a suspect in the American teen's disappearance based on a hidden-camera interview.
Police questioned Joran Van der Sloot for about two hours, and he again denied any role in the May 2005 disappearance of the American teen in the Dutch Caribbean island, the Aruban prosecutor's office said in a statement.

Van der Sloot said he was under the influence of marijuana when he said in a secretly taped video that he was with the American teenager when she died and that he had a friend dump her body at sea, the prosecutor's office said.

Exactly. They go hand in hand...smoking pot and saying you are a murderer.
I hope they can arrest that POS this time for good.

I watched the 20/20. His dumb lawyer was saying "he said all that stuff to sound cool and impress his new friend"
Hey A$$wipe that's not impressive.
Even more so when you are accused of it! He should have kept the lie going. But thankfully for Natalee he didn't!

yes, I'm always IMPRESSED when a new "friend" tells me they helped throw a young girl who may or may not have been alive, into the ocean in the middle of the night

i dvr'd the 20/20 and just watched it this morning... sickening. there is definitely more to the the story and he is definitely GUILTY.

His arrogance is incredible. On the hidden camera he said he didn't lose any sleep over it. What sick sick boy.
There is more to that story him throwing away his shoes was just weird.

Yes.
I found it very strange that he made it a point to say the person that helped him was NOT his parents.
That was what I thought, in addition, he iaccused a "friend" maybe to take the heat off of dad.
And when he said that Daury told him to go to school next day like nothing happened, doesn't that sound like something who knows the law would say (and his dad IS a judge, right)?

Yes, I think his dad was. I believe everything on that tape except the Daury part. I always thought she was drugged and it caused her death and they disposed of the body.

And- even if he was "lying" to impress his new friend (which I'm sure he wasn't), he should be locked up for making light of a horrible situation. Sicko.
