Re: Aruba Babymoon
YES! Plus, it's the perfect babymoon spot since it's a relaxing island.
Sit on the beach all day and then nice dinners at night. We have a timeshare at the Marriott, but all the hotels on that strip are nice and everything is within walking distance. I'd suggest The Radisson.
You'll have a great time!

My cousin went there with his wife for their honeymoon and they stayed there and loved it! Do you think it would be appropriate for a babymoon? he said is was more for their age...but I dont know if that means there was a lot of partying around?

Re: Aruba Babymoon
we went to Aruba a couple of years ago.. LOVED it!! We stayed at the Hyatt and I highly recommend it. We vegged out on the beach, did some activites.. ate a ton of food.. BLISS but it does get really, really hot there.. so not sure if that would affect your decision.

This is where we stayed! Loved it. Yes a lot of partying but also relaxing and lots of activities - pool bingo etc. Plus walking distance to where you book all the boat trips and stuff to do!

We went on our honeymoon and loved it! We went in August of '03 and stayed at the Hyatt. I highly recommend the Hyatt. I don't remember it being unbearably hot. I do remember that it was breezy ALL the time! Enjoy!

we stayed at the RIU palace. its all inclusive.
We went in November and also stayed at the RIU.
The hotel is beautiful, the food is decent, but holy carp the beds were AWFUL. I would never stay at one of their hotels ever again. It was like sleeping on concrete. We considered trying to sleep on the lounge chairs by the pool instead

Re: Aruba Babymoon
Aruba is our favorite place!!!!!!!! I want to go on a babymoon there, but dont know if we can afford it.
We went for our honeymoon.
We stayed at the Marriot casino there and it was AMAZING!! GREAT beach right there..great pool..great food..PERFECTION!
If you go, I have great recommendations for restaurants. They have the BEST food there.

I was just looking into the Marriott because it seems to be more within our price range. Can you tell me more? Was it easy to get lounge chairs by the pool and beach or did you have to go early or fight for them? Do you think as a preggers it would be fun?

Re: Aruba Babymoon
We went to Aruba last year and absolutely loved it. But honestly it was the hottest I've ever been on vacation. Just keep in mind that you might be uncomfortable. The sun is super strong there because of it's proximity to the equator.

Re: Aruba Babymoon
we go to Aruba every year. My parents have time share at the marriott and I swear its the best place to stay! They have the best beach on the strip! The restaurants are great, so I think you are better off not doing an all inclusive! its hot all year round, but they get the best breeze all the time too, so it makes it more bearable!

We went in Aug and its was HOT!!! i think it was like 95 all day every day. The locals though said that it wasn't normal for that time of year. Usually they said its like mid 80s with the nice Arubian Breeze.

Are you talking about the Mariott Casino? If so, is it true that it is very smokey because of the casino smokers?

Re: Aruba Babymoon
I dont hink it would be smart for us to do an all inclusive since i wont be drinking, and Im sure DH wont be drinking that much since its not that much fun to drink alone. So it might be a waste.
