Art that you can't really use - WWYD?

I LOVE the African art pieces that I have. Masks, 3-4 feet tall wood sculted statues, etc... I already kept only the pieces I really liked.

It's not DH' taste.

I am decluttering the house but for some reason I cannot part from it. I can't let it go.

Hoping that maybe in a different life I will my own room for all the art that I truly love.

Have you been in the same situation? You know you need to clean the house but you cannot part from it and you know you will regret the "loss".

Sorta. I have three wall art pieces that I have stored away in a closet for now. They are all really cool pieces but they do not go in my home currently. Maybe two would down the line, in a nursery, but for now they sit in a closet.

I have an African mask that I put in a bookshelf. It seemed to work well. See if you can see it in this pic.
