ARGH

So...my OB decided he wants to schedule me for a section due to the difficult delivery of DD1. I asked him last week if we could do it before the 20th (I will be 38 wks on the 17th). He said he'd have to talk to Perinatologist but maybe he could do it that early. I go back yesterday and he reiterates his concern for vaginal birth and again says he wants to schedule me. I say fine, can we do next Friday. He says no- not until 39th week. He says the earliest he could do is the 23rd. My parents are leaving on a business trip on the 23rd, and it's also the birthday of my cousin who passed away while I was pregnant with DD- so I asked him if we could move it up 2 days to the 21st. Again, he says he needs to get clearance from Peri and to call his service today after 10am to get an answer. I called at 11:30, they tell me he's not in the office today (he's in surgery on Fridays) and they'll leave a message. I wait 2 hours and call back and say I want to make sure he's going to call me. They say again he is in surgery today and he will call when he has time.

I have been waiting for this date for 2 weeks now. My parents are waiting to find out if they should cancel the trip. I JUST WANT TO KNOW ALREADY. I am so anxious to find out. It's maddening that he hasn't called me back yet!

Ugh- I am SO sick of being pregnant!

Ugh- I wish. He still hasn't called. I'm wondering if I should harrass them some more.
