Are Your Presents to DC Only from Santa or from Mama, Dada & Santa?
I believe the presents should be from both Mama & Dada and also from Santa.
My DH on the other hand, thinks presents to DC should ONLY be from Santa and like that every year until he stops believing in Santa.
What does everyone else do or think on this matter?

Some are from us and some are from Santa.
And Santa doesn't get the best gifts, he gets the second best ones, LOL.

Very good question, I have NO idea!
I believe it should be both because then our DC wil think, how come Mama and Dada don't buy us gifts, don't they love us.. They will see that we exchange presents from ourselves to others.
I'm thinking maybe we should even have at least one present to Mama from Santa and one present to Dada from Santa so Santa looks more believable.

All the presents under the tree on Christmas morning are from Santa. When we exchange gifts with the extended family, those are from who they are from.

Santa only...we only get a few yrs to enjoy santa before they realize he is a myth so I use it while I can. I can put mom and dad on it at a later time.

DD is too young to understand right now but we will do some from us and some from Santa. That is how my parents did it.

We are doing the gifts just from Santa. And, no presents every under the tree until x-mas morning - so it seems like magic. I can't wait.

Mostly from Santa with a few from Mommy and Daddy. Plus, no presents under the tree until Christmas morning...it just adds to the excitement!

I'm going to do what my parents always did for us. The wrapped presents are from Mommy & Daddy and the unwrapped presents are from Santa. My parents always told me that Santa didn't have time to wrap all the presents for everyone. The presents that aren't wrapped don't go out until everyone is asleep on Christmas Eve so that it's like Santa came.

We're doing the same this year but getting the best gift from us. We got flack last year from our son because we only gave him one gift.

I grew up with a mixture of both so that is how I will do it. DH's family just puts name of the person it is for and nothing to tell who it is from. He said that is not important.

The presents under the tree on CHristmas morning are from Santa. Later that day, we give them gifts from us (mommy and daddy). We want them to know both ideas.

ALl of the gifts under the tree for Christmas morning are from Santa.
Clothes will be from mom and dad. Also grandma is in charge of most of her wardrobe from here on out, just like my grandmother was with us!

We do both. Toys are from Santa. Clothes, PJ's etc are from Mommy and Daddy. Not that she really knows anyway.

I do most from Santa and a couple from mommy and daddy.
She doesn't understand yet, so all are under the tree right now. But once she gets older the gifts from us will go under earlier and the presents from Santa come after she goes to bed and is fast asleep on Christmas Eve.
My mom used to be very tired on Christmas morning because I would always try to stay up until I saw Santa on his sleigh - I figured I wouldn't miss Rudolph!! My poor mom

The first few years we did only Santa. The kids were not old enough to even know but last year I started wrapping some from Me & my DH. The unwrapped ones are from Santa. I think they should learn that it doesn't all come from a magical place. Although I would never want to take that magic away from them, I think it's good that they see my DH and I exchange as well as my Mom and other adults exchange too. I also plan on having them help wrap gifts to Daddy. Santa only brings for the kids though. Those are usually the big ticket items so the Jolly Old Fellow does get his props.

When their young it's all from Santa accept the gifts family members give of course  But when their older I usually give one gift (something small and in diff wrapping paper then santas) from mom & dad.

I like the idea of course to put out the present on christmas morning when 'santa' arrives. this year since he is only 5 months they are sitting under the tree.
not sur if I should wrap the presents from santa or leave them unwrapped
