Are your prenatal vitamins making you feel nauseous?
I never took vitamins before. All I know is that my prenatal vitamins are making me feel nauseous. I think it's a mixture of the large size, the bad taste, and the overall effect of the vitamin.

They used to but then I started taking them before going to bed and it helped a lot. Or with dinner.  Also, my ob ended up prescribing ones that were easy to handle. Maybe ask your gyn.

If you don't switch them-- try taking at night before bed.. Hopefully you will sleep through any adverse affects on your body.

I have been taking them right before I go to bed. It just makes me feel awful every night. I feel fine in the morning but it's an unpleasant way to go to bed.
DH thinks it's all in my head. Why would I make up feeling nauseous?!?!?!

i got very nausea while taking mine...
so what i would do is.. after you eat dinner , wait like an hour or 2.. then take the vitamin. it helped A LOT!

I definitely got nauceous at first! I stopped taking them in the morning and taking them at night before bed.
I also could not take the BIG HUGE ones anymore! I got rid of them and bought OneSource Prenatals at WalMart! I will send them to anyone if they send me their address. I live by these because they are little and easy to swallow. I would be more than happy to mail them to you if you'd like. Please just let me know.

They did the same for me (see my other thread!) even though I did take them at night with dinner.
I haven't taken them since but that's why I was asking people about smaller ones and ones that were easier on the stomach!
I've heard many recommendation for Rainbow Light prenatals and people have said that they don't have the bad side effects.

I was fine for the first few days, but I was up all night last night feeling nauseous. Did that happen to any of you? Did it take a few days for them to make you feel sick?

I never feel nauseous from them, I usually feel very bloated if I don't take them with food. I've been taking mine since March and haven't really felt nauseous from them.

They made me terribly sick - no matter what time of day I took them. The doctor said I could take Flintstones chewables - and add a 400 mcg tablet of Folic Acid.
