Re: Are you registering for Both a bouncer AND a swing?

This is number 2 for me and I am not registering, but for our first I had both a swing and bouncer and used them both.

We have a swing and a bouncer. But for the bouncer we got the fisher price infant to toddler rocker so we can use it for years. I had the rocker with my DD and she used it from birth to about 5 years old, so it was my best investment.

Ditto, except for the use part. DS never really liked the swing so we didn't get a ton of use out of it (still to this day he does the jungle gym and the slides at the playground but sits like a mope in the swing). I'm hoping to get more use out of it this go-around but I would DEFINITELY register for both. Their attention spans are super short - you'll need various things to keep them occupied throughout the day.

We used both.

Swing: when we were in living room, sometimes she'd sleep in it, etc.

Bouncer: on bathroom floor so I could shower, on kitchen floor so I could cook dinner, etc.

We use both the swing and the bouncy seat everday. I don't know what I'm going to do when he grows out of them!

You should register for both - they have different functions and sometimes you will find your child might like one better than the other. DD for example hated the swing in the beginning and liked it better when she was about 8 weeks.
