are you registering for...

2 car seats (1 for your car and 1 for DH's car)? or just 1 car seat and 2 bases?

i can't figure out which makes more sense and i dont want to look greedy by registering for 2 car seats! it just seems like more of a hassle to keep tabs on whose car the car seat is in if we only get 1 car seat.

I would register for one infant carrier and one regular car seat. I just feel like it's a waste because they are in the infant carrier for such small period of time.

I registered for 2 of each car seat. If we dont get it, we will have to buy them. We are going to have the baby in daycare and if Dh has the get the baby and I have the car seat it will be an issue. So we decided that we should each have one. I dont think its being greedy. Its what you need.

1 infant carrier, 3 bases (DH, mine and my Mom's car) and 2 regular car seats for when they outgrow the carrier. We'll used one of my sister's hand me downs for my Mom's car then.

We registered for one infant seat with an extra base. The baby will be carried in and out of wherever we go in the seat, so we won't have to worry about whose car the seat is in - it comes in and out and just the base stays in the car.

For the convertible seat we registered for two - one for each car. Those stay in the car so we'll need one for each.

With DS we had one infant carrier, 2 bases, 2 convertible car seats.

This time we have nothing extra just what we need for my mini van since all 3 kids won't fit in his car anyway.

we registered for one seat two bases and my parents actually went out and bought their own as well.

We registered for one infant carrier and one convertible seat. We are pretty much solely a one car family. If that changes in the next few years we figure we'll just purchase another convertible seat.

My mom went out and bought her own base.

I only did one because baby will basically only be in MY car. Dh has a truck - not really safe for a car seat. I might end up buying another base eventually if I find the need for it, but honestly I don't see the use of having more than one as of now.

we registered for the travel system which comes with 1 infant car seat, and then we registered for the extra base...

and we registered for 1 todler carseat, but only 1 because my job gives you a free one, so the free one will be the extra one for DH's car, but if we didnt get that we would have registered for 2

i registered so far for an infant seat and 2 bases. i didnt do a bigger car seat because i think im gonna wait until the time comes since new stuff will probably be out then

We registered for 1 infant seat, 2 bases and 2 full size convertible seats. If we need to go the daycare route and one picks up and another drops off we will just leave the infant seat at daycare.

We had 1 infant carrier and 1 base. If we were in a car other than ours we would just strap it in. Now that dd's in reg carseat we have 2 and each of our parents have one.

I registered for 2infant carriers with 2 extra bases and 2 convertibles but I'm having twins.

1 infant seat and 3 bases (for dh, mom, mil). I am putting the extra bases on basically to use the completion coupon. I don't expect anyone to buy these extra bases!

We registered for 1 infant seat, an extra base and 1 convertible.

DH and I registered for 1 infant car seat and one extra base for his car.

For the convertible car seat, we registered for 2 car seats. The reason is that one of us will be responsible for dropping her off and the other will pick her up after work.
