Are you paranoid?
I find that I normally worry about people/things but it has maginified since being pregnant.
I worry about when I have a slight cramp that I am having a miscarriage. I am constantly thinking about the tests we will have in the future and worry about their outcomes.
I worry about my DH getting into a car accident. I worry about me getting into a car accident. I am paranoid about someone breaking in and trying to kill us.
I even worry about letting my dog run outside in the backyard for fear that she will get eaten by a hawk (CRAZY I know)
Is this normal? Will it go away? I know that whatever is meant to be will be in this world. And I'm not worrying so much that I am stressed out all the time - not eating or sleeping (just the opposite actually) It's just random thoughts that go through my head throughout the day.

I am bad like this too. I am proud of myself this week that I have not called Dr. Hanauer's office in 4 days. This is a biggie for me.
Hang in there....we can do it.

Re: Are you paranoid?
sorry to say I think it only gets worse! In my last trimester, I was so afraid anytime that DH was away from me that my water would break and I would be alone to deal with it or whatever would happen. I became so needy!
I think its normal tho

Funny thing is that I did not find the hawk thing weird. I live on Belmont Park & I freak when my little ones are outside b/c we have bats & owls & foxes & stuff run around our property all the time.

I think its a mixture of ridiculous hormones and just being worried. Try and relax, everyone is going to be fine.
If it makes you feel any better when I was on the train the other day I was looking at some girls hair I got psychotically mad at it, I don't why, but I felt like doing harm to her head, actually just her hair....it passed.
Just know hormones are going crazy right now and tell yourself that when you're having one of your stressed thoughts...
As for a hawk, I think they should be more scared of Molly then Molly of them lol.

Re: Are you paranoid?
DH was outside last week and said that he saw a huge hawk circling over our house and little Molly.
We used to just send her out in the backyard to run around - but now I have to constantly watch her to make sure that I am nearby if I have to scare off a damn hawk. LOL. This is now my world.

Re: Are you paranoid?
OMG TOTALLY. I was thinking about posting the same thing. I don't worry so much about the pregnancy, since everything's been fine at my dr. visits and I feel pretty good. But I worry like crazy about DH driving (esp. on Thursday night when he teaches at a college in a not-so-great area and drives home in the dark.)
I worry about stuff after the baby's here- like the power lines in front of hte house falling on us, and about her getting hurt. I even worry about her riding the school bus, which won't happen for YEARS. I can't believe I'm like this.

Re: Are you paranoid?
OMG I feel the same way and get this...I even worry about the hawk thing too! I have a Yorkie and I always check on him in our backyard b/c I'm paranoid (especially b/c some chick at the vet told me she has seen it happen) that a hawk or some other bird is going to snatch him!
But yeah..my hormones are all over the place, and since I am so early on (almost 7 weeks), nothing seems definite right now, so I worry about everything.

Re: Are you paranoid?
Lets see....
I'm a vegan, and my appetite has been for crap - at almost 5 months preggo, I have gained less than 5 pounds... I worry about protein, calcium, and vitamins....
I worry about being healthy, and stressing too much about other things going on in my life, which has been happening a lot lately.....
At this point, I'll be happy if my baby doesnt look like this by the time I give birth!
(get it? Its Mr. worry!!!)
