Are you getting a winter coat?

I think I am going to need a winter coat. I'll be 20 weeks in January and I was definitely showing with dd by than. I doubt my two regular coats will go over a baby bump.

If you are getting a winter coat where are you getting it from?

I am due in mid Jan. and knew I'd need a coat since I communt into the city. I didnt want to spend a lot so I got one from Old Navy.

Pulled it out for the first time today and its comfy and plenty of room to grow with me these last 11 weeks.

I'll be 20 weeks at the beginning of December, and my regular winter coat is already fitting snug , so I will definitely need a new one.

I think I will check out Kohls and Old Navy for a new coat. I dont wanna spend too much $$ on it though, we're on super saving mode!

I am due at the end of January so I will be getting something inexpensive or a big fleece type sweater/blazer. I drive everywhere I go, so I don't really spend too much time outside.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. I borrowed a coat from DH last time but, I was due in December so it wasn't bitter cold. I'm thinking though anything I would buy would be equally as warm so I'll probably stick with that. I'm also going to see if my mom or another relative has a flowy coat I could borrow - I recall my mom having one that was kind of like a cape.

With my DD, I was due in late May and managed the whole winter (and I live in Chicago so it's coooolddddd!) with my normal jacket. My more tailored black one I wore to work got too small, but my puffy North Face one lasted.

This time around I'm due in April, so I'll be a month bigger in the winter and am showing sooner, so I may need one, but I'm hoping to avoid it. I'll wait until the last minute and then just get one on clearance if necessary.

When I was pregnant with DS 2 years ago, I bought the long puffy maternity coat from Gap, so I'm using that one again.

I'm not due until May again, but I wear my winter coats from November through March, so I need a warm maternity coat.

H&M. I just got a black peacoat kind of thing. It's very warm and pretty flattering. I'm due in January, and I do spend long stretches of time outside so I figured I would need something more than a heavy sweater....especially if it happens to snow.

But if I was only going to be 20 weeks by January I would hold off as long as possible and only get one if absolutely necessary.

Ugh! I'm not sure yet but this was def a thought on my mind for a while. I'm due April 9th so I'm prego for the whole winter. So far I'm carrying pretty small so I haven't had to make the switch to maternity or bigger clothes yet. I have a feeling that once Dec/Jan hits I will though. Def not going nuts on a coat. I'm thinking Kohls or something along those lines. They always have such great sales - plus the coupons. I think I'll be stopping in there

I'm due in May and already showing (!) so I know I will definitely need a winter coat. My mom spotted a swing coat from the LL Bean catalog that I think I'm going to order.

I bought an Old Navy winter coat last year. It was cheap, kep me warm, and still looks brand new!

I have one from when I was PG with DS. I didn't spend alot of money on it, maybe $50. It is super warm, but not the best looking.
Motherhood has alot of nice jackets for pretty cheap.

When I saw the subject title I thought it was a clever way of asking about all this new hair I'm growing everywhere due to hormones!

I just got the bubble jacket from Old Navy 40% off came to $35. I was cold today with just a hoodie and new with being outside with the kids I would freeze without one.

I think I am going to get one at motherhood.com I am not a huge fan of any of them but than again its maternity clothes, so I just have to deal.
