NOPE!
It doesn't matter if I start in August.
I will always always always have last minute things to get.
Stockings- stockings are the bane of my exisitance.
I hate that tradition. Go out and spend another $100 -after all you already spent -on junk.
Run down the aisle in Target and buy toothbrushes and deodorant for DH to shove in there- whether he needs it or not. I'm pretty sure he can buy his own shaving cream, but whatever.
So annoying.
Plus I slacked on a lot this year- only DD was done by November. Everyone else, I just had no desire to think about.
Oh well.
Maybe if I didn't work full time.
But I'd probably be just as bad, who am I kidding.

Thought I was close and then pulled out stuff to wrap last night and realized I'm totally not! But I did manage to buy doubles of a few things for my kids forgetting I already ordered them so not only do I need to go out shopping, I already need to do some returns

I've been shopping since October. At this point on, I'm throwing cash in an envelope for whoever I missed at this point & calling it a day. I don't even have the desire to get giftcards at this point.
My list gets longer & longer each year.

Yep. Although I forgot I need to get a gift for a birthday party right after Christmas. Then this morning I promised a friend an extra copy of a book we had and then realized I already have it away so need to buy that too. It really never ends.

Ugh same.
Everything stresses me out the past few weeks.
DD counting down on her advent calendar and announcing to me daily how many days left to Christmas. And me thinking, shit I still have nothign done and no desire to get going.
The dumb posts on FB- 8 more sleeps until Christmas!
Next week at this time it will be Christmas day!
(Really? Like I need another reminder of how far behind I am from grown ass adults?)
I can't wait until 12/26. Every year my BP rises, and for what?
