Yes, to the point where I am guilty of neglecting people who are important (or at least, not doing enough to maintain relationships). But part of it is, I just hate the phone and I don't live near my friends and family. Also, for a long time pre-dh I was the only one with no husband or child. So I had to be independent and got used to it.

Sometimes yes- Like I prefer shopping alone and need at least an hour a day alone
But sometimes no- like I have travelled alone and really prefer someone with me.

Christine, I swear you are my long lost sister.
I always thought I was the only other woman who liked shopping alone. I took MIL out a few weekends ago because she was dying to go with me (her daughters live out of state) and I kept feeling impatient. I don't browse... I do a scan of a store and if nothing catches my eye I leave.

Me too. I prefer shopping alone, but grocery shopping needs to be done with DH. I'm alone most of the time, actually, and don't mind it.
