Are there any goodwill stores near you? They give receipts.

I don't think so. A while back I dropped off a bunch of bags and they didn't even open them while I was there. They wrote down the number of bags and gave me the receipt.

Goodwill was so easy to donate to. I had 6 bins of clothes. The guys came to the car, took each bin and dumped it into a large bin inside the loading area. They gave me a receipt that stated 6 large bins of clothing and I was on my way. Super easy. I went to the one on Jericho Tpke in East Northport.

Sometimes you can bring them to the church and they will just weigh in and give you a receipt.

Vietnam Veterans will come to your house, pick up and leave a receipt. You can schedule a pick up here

Salvation Army on 109 West Babylon does and the Lupus Foundation will pick up at your house and leave a receipt
