APX Alarms
Does anyone use them? Or have any info on them? The house we are hopefully buying has them, I googled the company, it looks like they changed to Vivint, but I haven't seen a good review!
Am I able to change alarm companies? Would it be easier since I already have the alarm installed or will it still be a pain?

you can def. change when you move in i would assume you would have to call them to get a contact under your own name.
my DH installs alarms and from the little i understand sometimes its easier sometimes its not depending what they did. Im 98% sure they would probably swap everything out for thier stuff.

I have them. They have good points, and bad points. As someone who's had a variety of alarm companies over the years, I think they're adequate. They get a B grade from me.
