April mommies to be Shower thread!
Below is a description of what it's all about.
Everyone gets one person to send a baby gift too. We set an maximum amount ($20 ??) and then you have to mail your gift to get to your partner by a certain date. We will set a date once we know who wants to participate.You can't open your gift until that date, and then everyone posts pictures of the fun, cute and adorable gifts !!
If you are interested, let me know your real name (just first is fine), if you are having a girl or a boy or if you are staying team green.
If you want to participate please either post the above information on this post or FM me by JANUARY 16. I will compile a final list and assign everyone a "mail to" person over the next week and let everyone know who their partner is by JANUARY 23.
We can put a $20 limit on the gift (and then of course there will be the shipping charge in addition to the gift) have a mail out no later then FEBRUARY 4 and then we can just post pics once we start receiving our gifts. Is everyone okay with this? Overall it should cost between $25 & $30 at the most. You could always use the flat rate shipping boxes from the post office if it's beneficial (sometimes it's not and shipping first class is cheaper just takes a day or so longer)
ETA: I'm thinking that everyone can just give me their own address and I will pass it on to whoever gets your name like they do on the ornament thread. How does that sound? This way it will be more of a surprise when you get your gift! I've never organized one of these things before but I will do my best!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!
Also, if anyone wants to share their baby registry info that might be helpful! I know some of us are not registering, so maybe instead when you FM me your address, let me know if there's anything in particular you need/want and I'll pass that info along!
I think this gives us plenty of time to get our gifts and mail them out. If anyone thinks the dates should change let me know. I am open to all and any suggestions.
