April Mama's..We're in the Home Stretch!!!

April mommies...can you beleive we're all in the home stretch now

I can't believe how quickly time is passing.

I wanted to check in with all you lovely ladies and see how you are all doing, what's coming up...just a quick update.

Like JoJo I passed my 1 hour glusoe test (again). Dr. is happy with my progress and the baby's heartbeat sounded good last night. The little bugger is moving a lot lately and very visibly...of course when he wants...LOL. My blood pressure is controlled pretty well with the meds and so far so good <knock on wood>. Next appt. is 2/15 and then every two weeks after that.

I still have a long list of things to do before the baby comes and am slowly making progress. My baby shower will probbaly the weekend of 3/13 or the weekend of 3/20. Lots to do for that also.

Well hope you ladies are doing well and can't wait to hear your update.

Doing well here too! I never heard back from my doctor about my glucose test last month! Hum, I guess that means I passed?? No news is good news, right?

My next appointment is tomorrow. I am excited to hear the heartbeat again, I never can get enough of it.

Also have lots to do around the house, the baby's room and for the shower. Still have to make up my mind and order the darn crib! At least we've agreed on her name!!

I cannot believe it either!!..Its crazy! Time flies!

I am feeling great!..as you said passed the one hour, I am anemic so going on iron pills this week, been having bloody noses so seeing an ENT on Thursday. I have another appt with my OB tomorrow.

I have to monitor my blood pressure at home bc its pretty low..but now averaging out to about 111/65, better than my 90/60. They thought my blood pressure was risisng causing the bloody noses, but its not. After my appt tomorrow I start going every 2 weeks! WOO HOO!

I just want to see the booger again..havent had a sono since 20 weeks and my OB said not until 34 weeks!? BOO!

Other than that I am up 19lbs...and thats about all!

Time is really flying!

I had my 27 week appt yesterday. Luckily, I also passed the 1 hour. and I am up a total of 2 pounds so far which I am thrilled about. (I am a fatso to begin with, so don't let the 2 lbs make you feel bad).

I go back in 3 weeks for a growth sono and on 2/22 for a 31 week visit.

Knock on wood, everything is going pretty smoothly.

I received the bedding last week but we haven't done anything else. The room is currently our guest room and we have some furniture to move. I think BIL is visiting this weekend (or at least I hope so) so we can start emptying the room.


ETA - I should be finding out my C Section date soon!

I failed the 1 hour and I'm going for the 3 hour on Sat.

Our next appt is tomorrow.

DH started painting the nursery, we got the bedding in and got the wallpaper in.

Hey girls,

I'm 30 weeks now and things are moving soo quickly!

I was diagnosed with GD, but have been keeping my numbers under control, so no meds for me! I'm only up 20 lbs, with no weight gain in the last month. I get to have more Sonos tho bc of the GD, so that's fun. Next appt is Feb 9th, then every two weeks until 36 weeks, then twice a week!! Dr said everything looks great.

We are cleaning out the nursery room this week(almost done) and DH should be painting this weekend or during the week next week.

My Shower is Feb 27th..Invites are out, some responses are in and stuff is flying off the registry!!

My countdown says I have 66 days left!! They will not let me go more than a day or two past my EDD bc of the GD. Most likely my Dr thinks we will induce early- So I may will be a March Momma!

I can't believe I am into my 3rd trimester! Had my 26+ week appt yesterday. Now I am going to start going every two weeks. Next appt is 2/11. I have my glucose test scheduled for 2/8. My dr does a 2 hour test. All is looking good. BP is fine and dr hasn't said anything about my weight. I am up 24lbs and trying to be careful DH painted the nursery, furniture is ordered and my shower is 3/21. Helping mom and sis with that. Things are starting to come off my registry (I stalk)

hey girls!
i'm 29 weeks tomorrow, i can't belive how fast the time is flying! had my GD test last week. Dr said everything is looking good and i feel good, which im happy about.
the furniture is ordered, the bedding came in last week. so im going to decide on paint this weekend and then we can get the nursery started. the shower invites went out last week and things are flying off the registry - lol - i soooo peek! the shower is on 3/6, cant wait!

I'm almost 31 weeks this week, passed my one hour, and I'm up 32lbs I also have to take iron pills but otherwise I feel fine. I've been getting nice swift kicks to the ribs lately from little miss ma'am and she's been much more active the past week or so.

The nursery is officially underway and my shower is 2/28. We had to take the stroller and car seat out of the HUGE box so we could find a place to keep it while the nursery is being done and that was when it officially hit me that I would be a mom soon - because I now own a stroller.

I also tried to watch a birthing video on YouTube last week but chickened out so we'll see what happens with that. I still need to find a pediatrician and take the c-section class.

hey girls! glad to hear everyone is doing well!!!!

i cant believe we're basically into feb already! time IS flying.

I have my 30w apt 2/3 and then every 2 weeks until 36w.

so far so good for me. no GD & at my last apt (begin of jan) i hadn't gained weight since the begin of dec...but i was up 16 lbs overall. we shall see what the dr says next week!

stuff is coming off the registry...which shocked me b/c i thought it was still early! instead of 1 giant shower im having a bunch of sprinkles...my parents are divorced so 1 by my dad, 1 by my mom...and one with dh's side (my fam is not in li)...and then im just having a girls day with my friends...total craziness. but it should be fun.

we STILL havent figured out what to do about daycare...and its making me nervous! but i suppose worst case...my gma will have to stay with us.

ETA: forgot to mention...our little is kicking me a little tooo much for my liking!!! im like um owww what was thaaaat for....mommy would prefer gentle soft taps

I'm sooo not ready- and I'm willing to bet I'm going to end up a late March mommy.

Had an appt last night at 30 wks. Feeling good except I'm having trouble sleeping (due to anxiety- not discomfort) and having a little bit of pain "down there- mainly on the right side.

I was reading that this could be due to Round ligament pain or varicose veins (ew) I'm going to mention it to the doc again at my next appt (in 2 weeks)


ETA: been feeling the baby a ton the past few days- which is always reassuring and fun


The furniture is ordered and we'll probably paint the nursery this weekend and replace the carpet after we paint.

woho- we're almost there ladies! I can't wait for the weather to be nice and to be chillin with my new babushka!

Failed my 1 hour but passed my 3 hr! Had an aptmt today and I'm up 26 lbs at least I only gained 2 lbs. in the past 3 weeks- so it appears to be slowing down a bit.

Nursery walls are done and carpet is in. Furniture shuold come in the next few weeks and than just need to wait for the shower to complete everything. My shower is a surprise so not sure when it will be- sometime in March.

Have my 32 week growth sono scheduled for 2/16- can't wait to see goober again!

Baby has been moving so much more this past week, and I've been getting a bit more tired. But I still feel great. Went to the chiro for my back pain and was completely free of pain within 3 days- amazing!

havent been around the boards much since i quit my job couple of weeks ago! im 28 weeks and up 11lbs baby is measuring right on target and everythings perfect! went for a 3d sono this past weekend but baby boy didnt want to turn around so i had to reschedule for feb 1st. I finally started to register and its very overwhelming. still need to take my 1hr i keep putting it off but i think i have to go this weekend or my docs gonna come after me glad to see everyone is doing well

i cant believe it, I went for my 27w and i have a uti that is causing contraction, im severly anemic. So no im on an abx, and also iron pills in addt. to my prenatal.

My bp is good, they checked my cervix and saw the baby all is well. I told my dh i cant believe that the baby is so big on the sono screen. also found out i passed my 1hr glucose test

I'm soo done with this pregnancy! In the past few weeks I've had a ton of "routine complications"... the latest being a separated pubic bone & having to start insulin for GD (well I will be tomorrow). My c-section was tentatively scheduled for 3/29- my due date is 4/5; but I almost started to cry in the dr's office today & asked when babies' lungs are usually mature enough for them to be delivered (35 weeks or so, apparently), she told me if I'm still having a hard time they would do it at late 37 or 38 weeks. That in and of itself was enough to make me feel better & able to tolerate waiting til 39 weeks; does that make any sense? Anyway, if the baby is continuing along at the same rate (98th %ile since week 16), he's almost 5lbs already. Can't believe it's almost February! We're almost there!!!

Yes isn't this sooo exciting???

I will be 28 weeks this coming weekend! It's CRAZY!! But feeling pretty good, still tired...thinking about going to the gym this weekend just to walk a little bit But Nicholas is moving and jumping around! LOL And my regular clothes are DEF getting snug
My next appt is Feb 12th, for my sugar test...I hope I pass
