Anyone watching American Idol?
Did anyone just see Charlie Askew go? i didn't think his performance was THAT bad, though the judges hated it. I didn't know the song though.
And his comments when Ryan Seacrest was interviewing him at the end... awkward

I agree. I think his comments were a defense mechanism so he wont get kicked off. At least I hope so.

It was sooo awkward and scary. I was sooo uncomfortable watching. They were insulting him this time, when he did NOTHING different than the other times they saw him and they raved. KWIM?
And while I think they did a great job selecting girls, I think they REALLY dropped the ball picking the guys. I dont like ONE of the guys and there is not enough variation. And I dont think anyone is phenomenal out of the guys, when the girls have a lot of great singers, and some even will get cut.

Honestly he shouldn't have made it this far and those comments he made were a bit inappropriate.
