Anyone use the ergo?
Do you like it? How is it on your back? I have an infant ino and something else like that. Since the twins are still so young, I use the carrier a lot. The ones I have hurt my back and shoulders. I herd the ergo was great for that so I'm thinking about getting one. DS is 6 months and I'll be using this for quite a whole. For those if you who used it for a while, how long did you use it for? TIA!

I loved it. So much more comfortable than the bjorn. you can use it until they are 50lbs or maybe even more.

Love my Ergo, DH loves it even more. Some other great ones are Beco and Boba. Stay away from Bjorn or anything else that's forward facing out.

Love the ergo! My son was almost 2 ( 21 months) when we adopted him from Korea. We got one to use in the airport coming home, and just for bonding. At almkst 25 piunds,He fit great in there and we used it for a couple months after he came home.
So I would say you'll be able to use it for awhile! And it definitely comfy to wear- DH is 6 feet tall, I'm only 5 feet- and it worked great for either of us!

I might be using it wrong but sometimes it hurts my back. If you can borrow one from a friend or go to a consignment shop and try one out there you could see if it works for you. I still use it but if I use it for long my lower back starts hurting. My dd is about 15 lbs

i've tried 2 other carriers (a sling and a wrap) and finally fell in love with the ergo. It took a bit to adjust the straps just so to make it easy to get on and still supportive, but once I got that down, its super easy and comfortable. I like that I can put it on and take it off with the baby easily resting on me, and now that they are 10 months old and about 20 lbs, there is no issue with back strain.
You can also it flip it to be a hip carry position or back carry position but I definitely have not mastered that yet!

I had a hand me down infantino..it was horrible my back and shoulders would be killing me in a matter of 10 min
I bought an ergo and loved it! I had back surgery in 2007 and never had an issue with the ergo.
I think it will be my BFF when baby # 3 comes!

A carrier makes it so much easier with #3. I know he'll be in it much longer than the twins were. So I definitely need something better. Thanks for all the feedback ladies! This will probably be my next purchase this weekend!

I have the Boba 3G and love it. I also got the pouch to put in rolled up. It does not hurt my back at all. I have a really vad back and hip and I wore DS it it in Disney when he was 20 lbs for hours. And you can wear it facing you in the frobt and backpack style.

So I just looked up the Boba and now I'm confused!!! Seems like people who had the ergo and loved it purchased the boba and love it even more! But I can't find any stores to try the boba.

I actually just purchased it. A friend had the ergo so I true it yesterday ad loved it. After reading some reviews, people who had both liked the boba a little better because the back was a little higher. So I bought it from amazon today

The Boba is the top favorite of most people. The only problem is none of the major baby store sell it. You might have to look at a smaller baby store. . I have the ergo and want the Boba so bad.
