yup, completely legit. All the GCs have terms though...ie have to spend a minimum, eat on certain nights....something like that.

I have used it a few times myself. Actually, DH and I were planning on using one this weekend.
But make sure you read it carefully, like the PP said - there are some restrictions.

yes, it's super easy to use and can save you a lot of money!
Check out www.retailmenot.com for coupon codes to get additional savings.
I worked with a restaurant that took them so I know the flip side too. Basically, it's a mode of advertising for the company.
Example:
You pay $10 for a $50 certificate
Your meal has to exceed $100
So you are still paying at least $50 out of pocket plus the $10 you spend on the certificate. You are essentially paying $60 for a $100 meal. Savings for you and revenue for the restaurant!

yup!! i use it all the time. and many of the restaurants will use it on days like saturday even when it clearly says you can't use it on saturday. call the restaurant and ask first.

and right now they are 80% off so a $25 GC is only $2!!! You can also get the gift packages for 80% off too. So the 12 month package is a REAL bargain.
