Anyone use a OPK as a PG test?

in the last 2 days I took two dollar tree tests at 12 and 13 DPO, and I got VERY faint lines, almost to the point that if I didn't look carefully I would have thrown them out. Well I just used an OPK and my test line was much darker then the control (like I was ovulating) Has anyone tried this, and it worked? I have two more PG tests left, I am going to do another one tomorrow. Just curious, I don't have much to occupy my time now that I am on summer vacation....

OK, I got an EPT test with the + and - signs, and yet again I got a faint line on the +, I think this may be it!!

Katie - I feel like someone posted this question before - maybe try a search.

Also - have you thought of buying another brand of pregnancy tests? I know some of them are expensive but it might be worth it.........

Yeah I am going to, I am just scared/nervous because I had a m/c in December at 5 1/2 weeks.

I do remember reading on here someone mentioning that it's the same thing. Since you got two faint lines, go get a First response. good luck.

Using an opk as a hpt works for some women. It worked for me. I was neurotic and ran out of hpt so I used my opk's. The second line has to be darker then the control and it is not supposed to work till after you get a +hpt. You need more hormones for the opk to be + then the hpt. hope this helps. good luck

I know it must be so hard to hold out to test but get the name brand and test again tomoorrow morning. GOOD LUCK!
