Trying to make her understand heel once and for all. She doesn't like the Halti much, but I don't care. I'm 7 months pregnant and can't have her pulling me anymore. The only thing I heard about the harness (chest harness) is that it can trigger the pulling instinct in dogs. Thats what a dog trainer friend told me. That sometimes it could make them pull more. I know thats not the case in all dogs, but thats just what he told me. You should give it a try. It's like walking a whole other dog! I have tried it, and it was like walking a sled dog. She pulled even more. Thats why I mentioned what my friend said about it. This Halti has been the only thing that prevents her from pulling. Well I tried a training leash he gave me that sits high on the neck and it worked, but it kept slipping down.
