Anyone staying in tonight?
We are, im making dinner, we will watch a movie and then call it a night, i have to work tomorrow.

Us too! Everyone's bugging us to go out, but we love having a special, cozy NYE at home. Wish we had dogs to share it with, though! Maybe one day....

So many people called us to go out, like they do every year, and we always decline. When the ball drops, I will kiss my DH and give the dogs belly rubs.

Us!! DH is cooking some food right now and we're just chillin' out watching some SNL special.
Later we'll watch **** Clark's Rockin' NYE and whatever other channel shows the ball drop and kiss at midnight.
Last year we had a party at our house and that was alot of fun but it's kind of nice just sitting here relaxing spending time together.

for the last few years we have gone out - to a hall that has dancing and a nice dinner - then, a big thing when the ball drops. but this year we just didn't feel like it - so, we got together w/ my parents & sister and went to visit my great aunt and uncle in new jersey - we all went to atlantic city today - shopping galore! it was great - and then we went out to eat and just got home to hang out - so, we are staying in and honestly, it is really nice to have a quiet NYE b/c the last few years we went out - so, low key this year. it is nice to spend time w/ the fam and see relatives we don't get to see that much.

We are! I cooked lobster and filet mignon and DH is currently cleaning up. We're about to watch a movie and then eat the yummy brownies I made earlier for tonight. And I'm enjoying my 1/2 glass of red wine that I alloted for the evening (currently 8.5 mos pregnant  )

DH just left for work (poor him  ) and I am on my couch watching Miley with my MIL and her friend (who is sleeping and snoring).
We went to a great dinner, and I made creme brulee...and I'm drinking. It's turning out to be a nice night!

We are too! We had a party to go to- but it was on LI and we're in NJ...and we just got back from being in South Carolina for a week. That woulda meant sleeping another night in a different place. We were anxious to just spend our last days of vaca at home together!
We went out to dinner and then we watched our wedding video again tonight. And DH as always is watching the bowl games. Thank GOD college football will be over VERY SOON!

we stayed in tonight ... it gave me a chance to finish my wedding review 
so glad to start 08 without the nagging thought that i should get around to finishing it off! it was sooooooo much work!!!!
dh bought some nice steaks from the butcher, and we enjoyed a good dinner at home together.
