Anyone pay for own insurance as a single
My friend is looking into health insurance for her son. He actually qualifies for free insurance from the state but she won't do it for reasons. Does anyone pay for their own health insurance (not through a group) single, how much does it cost for the month. TIA

I used to be in HR and a single plan was normally over $350 per month. If he can get the insurance for free from the state, she should take advantage of it.
