Anyone live in or near Albany?
One of my friends who's getting married in a month lives in Albany. Her bachlorette party is in a few weeks but I'm having issues with getting everyone to and from places. I've called several limos but the prices seem to be a bit ridiculous for the amount of time we'll actually be in the limo. I've heard that the taxi's aren't too reliable. So, other than people driving themselves or a few people being designated drivers, can anyone recommend how to get from point a to point b or what they've done in this situation? TIA

I went to college in Albany. I don't remember the cabs being much of a problem but I was probably drunk most of the time I was in them. I lived in Albany from 95-99 so my information is old.
How about the bus? 
Where specifically are you going? Downtown?

I don't know any local services, but maybe someone on LIW's Brides helping Brides is planning a wedding near there and can give you a referral???
