anyone know of a camera repair shop?
preferably in Eastern Suffolk.
My stepdaughter's very new $$$(for a kid) camera got broken & she is flipping.
I don't even know if cameras get fixed anymore or if people just get new ones.

You can try L&L camera in Huntington Village. They are on the corner of 110 across from the North Fork Bank down by Burger King.

I would go to the manufacturers website for authorized service centers in the area. You may need to send it in.

There is one in Smithtown... on main street i think... Split Image? They fixed my canon rebel a few months ago... it broke one month after the warranty was over

First I would check the manufacturer to see about a warranty. My Nikon was 3 years old & it was covered. Both Nikon & Canon are located in LI.
If it's not covered, I would opt for L&L Camera also.
