Reliable camera repair....
All--
Am looking for a reputable, reliable place where I can get my wife's camera repaired. It is a Canon z180u that I purchased at Circuit City in Westbury a while back (it is no longer under warranty, I'm sure). It has been very lightly used...that is why we were surprised, to say the least, when the zoom button decided to detach itself from the rest of the camera housing without warning. If you know of any place in or around eastern Queens, please, let me know.

I would contact Canon directly to see if there was a bulletin out before you get it repaired. I had something happen to my Nikon which was over 2 years old and it was repaired for free. Also I believe Canon is located in LI.

Thanks for your suggestion--Canon provides online repair advice via email, and they were able to direct me to two certified repair centers in Manhattan which are relatively convenient to us.
