anyone know about this...?
I got AF this past Friday....another BFN after clomid. Anyways AF ended yesterday and today when I went in to start another cycle the RE said that my estrogen is elevated and that I cant take the clomid again just yet. I asked why my estrogen is elevated and the nurse said it could be that I'm producing another follicle. How could this be? I just finished AF....how could I be making another follie already? What is going on with my body? I never had these issues before.

I've never heard of that, but maybe you're gonna ovulate early on this cycle?

You might have an estrogen-producing cyst.

I don't know how many cycles of Clomid you have done but generally after 3 BFN's it's time to move on to something else (IUI, injections, etc.). Best of luck!

You might have an estrogen-producing cyst.
Friday when I went in for an sono the nurse said I did have 2 cysts but said that they disappeared today. So maybe they are still there?

There might be some residual estrogen hanging around even if they are gone by now. When do you go back in? In a few days you'll probably be fine to start. G/L

Re: anyone know about this...?
I don't have a medical explanation for it - but I actually got a follie while I had my AF when I was doing IUI /Clomid cycles ....They did tell me that it does happen and believe it or not, they scheduled me for an IUI for that follie...It was the wierdest cycle ever ( was BFN though),,,,My lining was plenty sufficient enough for an IUI and my other levels were where they needed them to be for IUI....I posted about it a really long time ago...I'll have to find it....
Here it is ! My very first post ironically !

Re: anyone know about this...?
It could be residual from the Clomid, it stays in your body a long time so your ovaries may be responding earlier then usual. My only other guess would be a cyst but sounds like that was ruled out. Good luck!! Shawnna
