Anyone in the medical field? Blood work related..
I went to quest for some blood work last week, they took a vile. Turns out that they didn't test for everything my Dr wanted and I now need another draw.
how long should I wait? I had heard at least 8 weeks for your red blood cells etc..any advice?

For 1 vial, you could go back today. Waiting 8 weeks is for DONATING blood (much much much more than what 1 vial would yield).

When I was on blood thinners, I'd give a vial twice a week with no issues. When I was at the hospital, they would take 3 vials A DAY.

When I was pregnant they would take like 7 vials at a time. It's fine to have it done right away

You can definitely get more drawn. I had six taken for a pre-surgery medical clearance, only to come home and get a call that they needed two more  and had to go back the next morning for those.

yeah that was what I was remembering! LOL
Never seen so much of my blood so well organized outside my body! Seen plenty spilled haphazardly but never neatly lined up as I did then! LOL 
I've had blood drawn one day each day for 4 days when they were trying to figure out why I was having chest pains and high blood pressure. Meh. No biggie.
