I am definitely nervous!!! It scares the life out of me. However, when I think about having a child and holding my baby in my arms for the first time the fear seems to partially go away.

i am very nervous! but to tell the truth, i am much more nervous about not being able to get pregnant than about actually having a child. i'm not sure why - i have no more reason to be unable to conceive than the next woman - but it is a HUGE fear for me.

I have the same fear, I'm older (36) & DH's mom took 10 years to have DH and I'm just petrified of this happening.  to us

ditto! it scares me beyond belief... especially since I have a debiltating fear of doctors, but I'm sooooooooo ready for this next chapter of my life!

I am. Specifically because I 'convinced' my DH to try now, since it will likely take us a while. Im nervous how he'd or I feel if we did get PG right away. I know he'll be happy, and I will be b/c Im stressed that I can't concieve, but at the same time we need a few months for the idea to settle in.
