Anyone having problems with their gums?

This week my gums are really bothering me....bleeding when I brush my teeth and they just feel very irritated.

I know this can sometimes happen during pregnancy. I have also recently changed my mouthwash/toothpaste within the last few weeks so I wonder if it is all pregnancy related or also related to that?

I need to go for a cleaning anyway. I need to find a new dentist since mine doesn't take my insurance any longer...

Uhhhh so many problems with my gums and teeth this pregnancy. My dentist is in West Islip if you are looking for one near there fm and I can give you her info. She is very understanding. Good Luck.....

I had tons of issues. It turned out that I was not getting enough calcium. I switched my pre-natals and started incorporating a glass of milk a day and my gums are no longer swollen.

Not yet at least... I try to drink a glass of milk a day (when I remember) and I have at least 1 string cheese... I also use sensodyne toothpaste so maybe thats been helping too... Def get to the dentist... I went for a cleaning when I was 2 months preg and am scheduled for another in 6 months (If I can make it by then lol)

I'm being good about my dairy...

I drink 2 8 ounce glasses of skim milk a day, and get in my 3rd serving with cheese. I'll add cheese to my eggs, or my brocolli, or whatever.

So I am getting in my full 3 servings of dairy a day.

I just searched my insurance. I am in Levittown. There is a female dentist coming up...Dr. Allison Napoli in Levittown...I am going to give them a call and see if I can get an appt! I am due for a cleaning anyway!

my gums bleed horribly everytime I am pregnant. it stinks.
