Anyone have early contractions and deliver at a decent week?

I am 24 1/2 weeks with twins and I am having contractions. I started getting a shot to try and stop the contractions and severely increased my water intake and when they put me on the monitor last night I was still having small ones here and there. I am so nervous I am not going to carry that long.

i started having contractions at 24w 6days I delivered at 27w 6days she is doing great and will be 1 on friday hang in there

I started having contractions at 23 weeks. I had two visits to L&D between 23 and 30 weeks. At 30 weeks I was in the hospital for 4 days being constantly monitored. At that point I was put on procardia and got the steriod shots. I went home on bed rest.
At 35 weeks I was back in the hospital for 3 days. When I got there they told me they highly doubted I would leave the hospital pregnant. The contractions were very strong and regular. I got a two terb shots, which made me feel very shaky and crappy, and I started taking procardia every 4 hrs instead of every 6 like before.
The contractions stopped, and I went home. We scheduled a c-section for 37w5d. I went in that day for my section and started having contractions again - but never dilated through any of it. So my twins were born at 37w5d, as scheduled, were completely healthy, and came home with me 4 days later.

Did you have an FFN test? I had those every two weeks.
I would also ask about procardia, it worked great for me and had no side effects like terbutaline has.

With my last pregnancy and current pregnancy, I started contracting around week 29. DS made it to 38 weeks, and I'm currently 37 weeks now. I have to say this time around the contractions have been a lot more intense and driving me up the wall. Even on procardia, I contracted at least 5 times an hour and at night I went up to 8-9 times an hour

I stopped the procardia and got off bedrest when I hit term, and the contractions are even more annoying but I've been learning to live with them. I had steroids given to me this time around 30 weeks in case I did end up delivering early, and I never responded to the IM shots of terbutaline. At this point, I'm just waiting for the real thing to start!
