Anyone have a Sodastream?
Thinking about getting it as a last minute gift for my DH for Christmas. I've done all the reading about it and read a bunch of reviews... Seems pretty mixed.
If you have one, are you happy with it?

love it. the pink grapefruit soda is great, my favorite, and i also use MIO berry pomegranite. i don't like their cola flavors though. i've had mine well over a year now, and it gets used almost daily.

I have it and love it but I only use it for seltzer. I like that I can control the amount of fizz it gets.

Hmmmm... My DH loves soda so that would have been it's main purpose. He does also like flavored waters and things like that too. Plus he's a total gadget guy. Geeez.. I don't know. haha

We have one! We do buy soda from time to time but we do use our sodastream. My sister, who has a severe diet coke obsession, has said that while it's not as good as a real diet coke, it's better than diet pepsi. LOL
ETA: I really like the pink grapefruit. I also like just the seltzer with a splash of OJ or Ocean Spray for flavor. DH likes the iced tea but I thought it was weird to have iced tea be carbonated.

I love love love mine. I think the soda tastes so much better then what you can buy at the store and you save alot of money not buying all that soda.

I just picked one up as a last minute gift today for my ILs. They are always buying cans and I know my FIL complains about how big his grocery bill is.
FYI: BBB only had a few of the Cuisinart models left. They said you can use the sodastream mix though. I got a gift receipt so they can return it if they want and get the Sodastream brand.

I love the seltzer. The machine comes with samples as well. I like the currant pear and grapefruit. I use it a lot and being in an apartment, it's great bc I have no room for seltzer bottles. I have the basic $79.99 model.

I just want to add that I don't follow the directions on the mix. I find that it makes the soda too sweet for me so definitely experiment at first until you find the right amount for you.

Got it last year for Xmas and love it! We love the root beer, diet orange, ginger ale, dr Pete and diet cranberry something. I love the seltzer and I add mio to it for flavor.
