NYC DOE doubt it, has never happened, we shall see
Same with all the other city agencies. I'm thinking if it goes into late enough tonight, they *may* close the city schools tomorrow. We shall see.

My boss said we'll be leaving early. We'll just keep an eye out the window and play it by ear. I take the subway to work so I am not that concerned.

Hoping to catch a 2pm train. The kids daycare is closing at 1pm but, I have ILs picking them up. Wish I hadn't come in either - we live in the 3-6 inch bucket so I thought I'd be good.

My DD's district (3VSD) has an early release at 1:40 but I picked her up at 11. The roads are so bad I just wanted to get her home and safe.
DH's company is shutting down at 1pm today and will likely be closed tomorrow.

Wow, it must be really bad out there. We NEVER close early and we just got an e-mail that we can leave at 3:30 today.
ETA: We're still open tomorrow as of right now, but that may very well change.

Boss told us to leave at 4:00 - but it's looking pretty bad so I'm thinking earlier than that. Have to work from home though - which is always a good time with kiddos at home - even with DH there too it's hard to get stuff done.

Nope. I work in a school that does not practice the early dismissal policy so if we're here, we're here for the duration. It's gonna be a slow drive home, oh well.

My school had a 45 min. early release, big deal! lol I left at 12 for a Drs. appt.
DH left his job around 12:30.
We're both off tomorrow

My school closed early....I left at 1 and it took me 4 1/2 hours to get home. It's 35 miles and normally takes an hour. The roads are HORRIBLE!!! Be careful!
