I did ballet when I was about 7 and then took hip hop classes when I was 13 or 14.

I think I took some classes at one time at Robert Mann. Who didn't go there at one point!

Ballet & Tap for 11 years.
I went to Robert Mann too, and Cardozo HS for dance!
 Our parallel life.....only to meet over 10 years later!

I never went. My mom said I didn't want to. But I sort of wish I did. My cousin who is 13 has been going for a long time - she loves it.

I did tap, ballet and gymnastics.
If I ever have a little girl I hope she will want to take classes.
I love going to dance recitals!

This is so funny that so many of us did!
\ did tap, ballet, jazz and gymnastics when I was much younger. I stopped ballet before pointe and just did tap and jazz, then just jazz. Pretty much until 10th grade or so. I loved it! Can't remember why I stopped though.

Dance was and still is in many ways, my life! I started when I was 4 and danced for 15 years. I did tap, jazz and balllet...tap being my favorite of all. I taught dance for 5 years, starting out as an assistant teacher and becoming a teacher. My sister followed in my footsteps and just celebrated her 20th anniversary. Shes the manager of a very well known dance studio here in queens and is extremely talented!
Its our dream to open up our own dance studio...thats what we are working towards! I cant wait..I hope it really happens!

I started ballet at 2 1/2...and stopped at 19. Apparently I saw the Nutcracker and "wanted to be Clara" so my mother enrolled me.

Shes older than us!!! By 2 years. Her sister graduated with us though!

I top ballet,tap, jazz I went to miss Jan chris dance studio she was in port jefferson station than she moved she is now near handlebar on 347
